Bristol Creatives site launched

In their own words, "Bristol Creatives is an artist-led networking and marketing initiative for visual and applied artists in the city". They run lots of events for people interested in the arts in Bristol.

They had a website, but it didn't meet their needs (getting money from subscribers). It was running on an ancient version of Drupal (4.x), so an upgrade was out of the question.

I used the Pressflow distribution of Drupal to build a completely new site. It uses lots of exciting Drupal modules like CCK, Views, ImageCache to make the content management very easy, but very powerful.

There are different levels of subscription, ranging from student, to individual, to sponsor. Each level has access to different features on the site, and can create different kinds of content (news, events, jobs, etc). We used Paypal to process the subscriptions.
