The BeThatChange site launched properly in September 2009 with a Twitter campaign to get Prime Minister Gordon Brown to attend the COP15 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (that's a mouthful).
Not long afterwards, Gordon Brown announced that he would attend. Coincidence? Maybe.
More recently, we featured a campaign to get President Barack Obama to the same conference. He announced he would attend, too. Perhaps we can't claim any credit for that, but we did at least get people talking about it.
